The popular Pamphlet Series were published in the late eighties and early nineties on contemporary issues related to Alcohol Studies. Authors included renowned scholars, educators, professors, and other experts from a variety of areas.
The Center of Alcohol Studies had four major areas of concern: research, education, treatment, and prevention. As part of its educational mission, the center published a series of pamphlets on topics in the alcohol studies field. See examples in the Publication Catalog from 1992.
Series description from the original introduction to the series: This series of educational pamphlets provides clear, concise information on a wide variety of topics important to the alcohol field. They are easily readable introductions by authors considered authorities in their area.
