Digital Collection

Search the individual collections by expanding the collection list. Collection descriptions are as follows.

The Images Collection contains photographs, illustrations, sketches, and scans of documents such as cover art and promotional material.

The Notable People Collection features resources related to significant scholars, researchers, and educators in the history of alcohol studies as it evolved at Yale and Rutgers Universities.

The Publications Collection contains full texts of publications by the Yale and Rutgers Centers of Alcohol Studies documenting the early advancements in the field of alcohol studies.

The Special Collections include content related to the history of Yale and Rutgers Centers of Alcohol Studies and a Temperance Collection with documents used for informational, entertainment, and propaganda purposes.

The Summer School Collection tells the story of the oldest substance use training program in the nation, which started at the Summer School of Alcohol Studies at Yale in 1943 and continued at Rutgers.
